OUR FACILITY
f2kmultisports operate from f2k Health and Fitness, a dedicated private training facility in Didsbury. The facility offers endurance athletes a state of the art, fully air conditioned training environment, supervised by f2kmultisports coaches.
The facility was designed to provide a place where like-minded people of all abilities can train together, in a positive and motivating environment. Client facilities include male and female changing rooms and showers, free towel hire, and a coffee lounge for post training relaxation.

Services
f2k Health and Fitness offers the following services, all led by an f2kmultisports coach.
- Strength and conditioning sessions Designed to build resistance to injury and provide a strong foundation for aerobic training, 1-1 sessions are the most effective way to maximise time in the gym. f2kmultisports are strong believers in unstable functional training and the choice of equipment reflects this.
- Periodised group spinning sessions Turbo training is the most time effective way to improve cycling performance, but doing it alone can be soul destroying. To make training more enjoyable – and effective - the class schedule offers several spinning classes every week using LeMond spinning bikes in an air conditioned studio. The classes are periodised to prepare people for the summer race season, and riders can bring their own cleats and pedals if preferred.
- Periodised group running sessions Group runs are offered throughout the year on measured routes on and off road around Didsbury. Summer months allow structured interval training with the emphasis on pace awareness and technique improvement.
- Periodised brick sessions Brick training prepares the body to switch from one discipline to another, an aspect of triathlon and duathlon most people ignore. These group sessions include transition practice and utilise the LeMond bikes with either measured run routes outside, or specified paces on the TechnoGym treadmills.
- Winter circuit sessions To provide training variety throughout the winter, small circuit classes offer athletes a chance to strengthen the body before event specific training takes priority from April onwards.
Membership options
Athletes can either attend classes on a pay-as-you-go basis, or join f2k Health and Fitness as a member. For a monthly fee, a member has unlimited use of the facility, receives a monthly 1-1 strength and conditioning session and has access to unlimited classes included in the price. A member has full access to the following facilities;
- iPod compatible TechnoGym treadmills
- Spinning studio with customised LeMond spinning bikes
- Interactive Concept II rowers
- TechnoGym wave trainers
- TechnoGym Kinesis cable apparatus
- Olympic lifting platform
- Squat rack
- Free weights area
- Designer showers and changing rooms
- Treatment room
- Coffee lounge
- Complimentary shower and sweat towels
- Open 7 days a week
- Fully air conditioned
